INTRODUTION:
To get to the sea at Doc Let Beach you have to cross high sand dunes and if you are not strong enough the sand will seem to hold you back. This causes some people to “lag” (let in Vietnamese) and this is the origin of the Vietnamse name. However, there is a great compensation for you once you have conquered the dunes.
Appearing in front of you is a wonderful beach with fine, smooth and pure sand and magnificent blues seas with gentle waves The sandy beach runs for 10 km from Dong Hai Village to the Cement Factory of Hon Khoi.
Doc Let is not only an ideal swimming beach, but its natural landscape is also quite attractive to tourists. There are Islands of every size and shape off shore forming two bows that break the waves The big island from afar looks like a sunbathing girl.
Not far to the north is the famous Van Phong Bay, where future development as a tourist spot has been proposed by the International Tourism Organization (OMT).
To the South, beyond the Cement Factory is Hon Heo, the former revolutionary base with so many heroic exploits that have been noted down in history. Also, only 2-3 kilometres from Doc Let, tourists are free to visit the fishing village of Ninh Thuy, the salt fields of Ninh Diem or take a rest in the shade of the coconut palms and poplars or visit beautifully decorated shops & restaurants for a drink and/or sea specialties such as fresh crabs, sentinel crabs and oysters

- Leave Doc Let beach, going to the pier of Monkey Island.
- Travel by boat to Monkey Island, you will see the natural life of monkeys.
- Contact with wild Monkeys and take photos of them.
